Our daughter asked me if I could make her an apron she could wear as a teacher. She needs to keep her ID, her phone, and her pass-keys with her at all times. In addition, in case of an emergency where she will not be allowed back into her classroom, she wants to keep her personal keys with her also. I designed this apron with all that in mind, plus made the ties extra long so she can pull the ties around the back pull them back into the front, and tie it where she has control of where it’s tied. No one can come up behind her and untie her apron.
This is a full instructional video on sewing a pouch-type apron for teachers, who must keep their ID, passkey, cell phone, and other items on them at all times. The video also shows how to sew clear vinyl and an easy installation of a zipper. The apron has six smaller pockets and one very large pocket with a zipper. Can also be used for shopping, conventions, etc..
Materials:
- Two pieces of fabric cut 21 inches by 10 inches (Back of apron and bottom layer on front.)
- One piece of fabric cut 21 ” by 6 1/2 ” (Middle pocket layeron front.)
